Gaining Altitude
A guided, cohort-format strategic planning experience for nonprofit leaders
We’ll help you build
Your Nonprofit Deserves a Real Strategic Plan.
Finding the time and resources to devote to strategic planning can be a struggle for nonprofit leaders. But it can have huge rewards for your organization and your mission.
If your nonprofit is operating without a written strategic plan or your plan is out of date, Gaining Altitude may be right for you.
Through a guided strategic planning program in a group setting, Gaining Altitude provides an innovative and manageable way for nonprofit leaders to develop a formal three-year strategic plan. Over the course of six monthly sessions, we guide cohorts through the five key phases of strategic planning and provide expert coaching, feedback, and support along the way.
By the end of the program, participants have:
Established their strategic priorities and set year-one goals to advance them
Crafted a succinct and visually compelling overview of their plan for funders, board members, partners, and other key stakeholders
Learned tools and techniques to translate strategic thinking into action
Expanded their network of peers in the nonprofit sector
